The relationship between Coach and Client is critical to the success of any coaching session.
It defines the uniqueness of the Quantum Healing approach because both ‘Doing’ and ‘Being’ coaching styles are employed to achieve a transformational coaching result.
‘Doing’ Coaching
This approach encourages the client to take the steps required to achieve a result – more successful business, new relationship, new career direction, greater financial security, etc. Guiding and supporting the client to achieve their goals are the easiest and most obvious skills a coach brings to the client. Yes, they are important because clients usually bring specific goals to a coaching session. This is often as far as most coaches go, and it effectively serves thousands of clients in keeping them in action, making conscious choices, and moving forward. However, there is more…..
‘Being’ Coaching
This approach is complimentary to ‘Doing’ and is concerned with assisting the client to align their way of living and ‘being’ with their core values and life purpose, while honouring and acknowledging the client’s process.
‘Being’ coaching supports the client to be more aware all of the time – that is, the client is supported to be present, here and now. The focus is on both the journey and the result. The coach assists the client to maintain awareness of ‘who they are being’ in alignment with their core values throughout their journey.
Coaching Objective
The objective of the approach is to develop and empower the client to be independent. To show the client how to explore and find the answers to their questions from within themselves. I do NOT want clients to become dependants!
Happiness and Fulfilment
We all work hard to accumulate material possessions thinking that they will make us happy. However, the new car or house does not make us happy for very long. Soon we search for another material possession that we think will make us happy.
Happiness is not realised in material possessions but in living (being) passionately in accordance with our core values. When we do that we can be happy and fulfilled every day, and we can easily and effortlessly take the steps to acquire the material possessions we desire.
